DJ Set inédito de Daft Punk.
Con el pasar de los años aparecen joyas inesperadas de nuestros artistas favoritos que nos emocionan, justo por eso ha aparecido un Dj Set de Daft Punk antes de ponerse los cascos en el club Le Privé al Sur de Francia.
Esta cinta fue grabada en 1995 por el Dj residente del lugar por el cual pasaron los iconos Carl Cox, Jeff Mills, Laurent Garnier, Derrick May y Richie Hawtin. En la selección de temas Thomas y Guy-Man abrieron con “Da Funk”, seguida de una mezcla de house con acid techno y rayos de rave, durante el desarrollo se puede escuchar también la joya “Rollin & Scratchin’” albergada en su primer material Homework y el remix a The Micro-Nauts que aún no había sido lanzado.
“Mi padre, George alias “Georges du Privé ”(los locales y DJs lo conocen por este nombre), me lo contó. Siempre habló de una grabación en cinta de Daft Punk en el club, sin haber podido nunca apoderarse de ella. La semana pasada, mientras ordenaba, me encontré con una caja llena de casetes que conocía. Cuando los saqué de los estuches, vi que uno de ellos tenía la etiqueta “daft punk nº2”, luego lo saqué todo y también encontré el primero”, comentó el hijo del ex dueño del Le Privé para Tsugi.
